Ribosi Incorporated is well versed in configuring a wide variety of open source and proprietary software and hardware for proper, stable and secure production operation including web servers, domain controllers, mail servers, VoIP servers and more.

Each package shown here is completely compatible. That is, multiple packages may be installed on the same hardware with no adverse effects (within reason). Though we will install these on any Linux distribution, we highly recommend the Gentoo Linux operating system.

Unless requested otherwise, as part of any system configuration, we also configure the on-system firewall to properly allow access to the required ports while dropping any other requests.

Mail Server Put an end to your spam and virus issues without costly monthly fees. Our mail server configuration includes top of the line, updated daily, spam and virus filtering as well as multiple domain support, per-domain and global web based control panels, webmail service, SMTP authentication, host blacklisting, and are completely compatible with popular email clients such as Thunderbird and Outlook - all with no licensing fees.

Web Server We configure web server to follow Linux Filesystem Hierarchy standards which results in easy to locate configuration and service files. Our web server come equipped with multiple domain, PHP, MySQL and PostgreSQL support.

Instant Message Server One of the largest wastes of time in any corporation is that of employees using instant messengers to talk to friends and family on company time. You can put a complete stop to this while keeping the convenience of instant messaging available for your employees with a private instant message server. The private instant message servers we configure allow popular instant message clients on every major platform to connect seamlessly and options allow for file transfers and the use of microphones and web cams.

Domain Controller Whether you run strictly Linux clients, all Windows clients or some mixture, our domain controllers provide dynamic addressing (DHCP), home directory storage, shared filesystem access, single log in credentials no matter what platform you're signing into and roaming profiles. Note that due to Windows clients using inefficient networking paradigms, you'll likely not want to use roaming profiles if you have a substantial user base. This is due to Windows copying over the entire contents of a user's home directory every time they log in or out, which can cause havoc at 9AM and 5PM. Linux workstations don't have this problem, and this problem can be found on any AD-controlled Windows network as well.
